I believe that preserving strong, core democratic values within our educational system helps to in turn support a strong vibrant democracy.

 

Pallant has experience in politics, having been a delegate with the California Democratic Party and president of Valley Democrats United before moving to Oak Park in 2004. She also has a master’s degree in psychology and is a business owner.

Pallant’s two children both graduated from Oak Park High. She is running for trustee again, she said, “to ensure our district continues to be a top district and one that supports and prioritizes the students’ and teachers’ health and well-being, and continues forging ahead with academic prowess, critical thinking, and strong values of equality, inclusion and progressivism.
