Election Results November 2022
The Thursday update was a tiny sliver of votes which doesn't indicate a trend for uncounted ballots. Reportedly, that update was related to provisional ballots cast at voting centers so it skews GOP. Exactly what we saw when the Thursday update bumped Mikey Taylor and Jeff Gorell. This release does not predict vote spreads in the uncounted ballots.
We are told the next update will be Tuesday, 11/15 at 2PM. This update will be telling. There are over 100K ballot envelopes in the Election Division office waiting to be signature verified, opened, and counted.
We did learn that around 112,000 Ventura County ballots have been received at Elections Division but not counted as of Thursday. More will arrive by USPS in the coming days. There are about 500K registered voters in Ventura County. 34% of those ballots have been tallied. So that's around 170K tallied and 112K, at minimum, left to count. That's a huge number of votes.
Current predictions for voter turnout in Ventura County is around 55% but it could easily go higher, especially here in the Conejo Valley. This is where the GOTV effort made by candidates and DCCV really pays off - canvassing, phone calls, texting, make a difference.

Victory appears to be secure for candidates in BLUE using results from Thursday, Nov 10th. Many other candidates are highly likely to win their races. The highly likely win candidates are marked in RED. Too close to call are in gold. We will update after the Tuesday, 11/15 numbers. #BlueTuesday
